PICTO A/W 2012/13 starting point were Edward Steichen’s words “In art, the dynamic is the result of the contemplative” and pictorialism trend. The collection
main inspiration were works of Edward Steichen, Jacques Henri L’artigue and their muses – Pola Negri, Greta Garbo, Gloria Swanson, Martha Graham, Joan
Crawford, Florette, René Perle. Women with contrasted personality. On the one hand, frigid, mysterious and powerful. On the other, innocent, delicate and
usually relying on men present in their lifes.

B SIDES image campaign 2012/13 shot by photographer Jacek Kolodziejski especially refers to the work of Edward Steichen – the creator of feminine and dominant portraits of his time. Portraits elegant and exceptionally sensual, mainly set in Hollywood of the 1920′s.
