Etienne Perret
Etienne is an independent designer and goldsmith, creating some of the country’s finest colored diamond jewelry from his studio in Camden, Maine for the last 40 years.
It perfectly combines hi-tech, eco-friendly materials and great design, to create stylish, affordable and ultra-durable jewelry that’s perfect for both men and women. With color options of black, white, pink, blue, green, chocolate, gray and chrome, Ceramique is fun and fully customizable. It can be inlaid with platinum or 18kt gold and set with pearls or diamonds in any (or all colors) of the rainbow!
Gold inlaid bands are popular as men’s wedding rings, the diamond stripe rings and bracelets have proven extremely popular as jewelry accessories for women who have (or appreciate) Chanel ceramic watches, and women can’t leave the jewelry store without picking up a pair of our 2-3mm black bands as accent bands to accentuate their own rings or a diamond eternity ring that they buy from you. Etienne also offers Ceramique bracelet, earring and necklace designs! Our newest addition to the line are designs in cobalt chrome.
All prices are available upon request, generally ranging from $100 & up for the plain ceramic rings, $300 & up for bracelets, $600 & up for gold inlay rings, to $500-10,000 for rings and bracelets set with colored diamonds or pearls. We have plenty of experience working with international clients on both wholesale and retail levels. The internet as well as inexpensive, reliable worldwide shipping has made international business fast and efficient and it’s something that we fully embrace.
Etienne often uses natural color and white diamonds in his designs especially in the yellow, pink and brown ranges in his designs. However, he has found his niche creating the highest quality bridal jewelry using color enhanced natural diamonds. The use of color enhanced natural diamonds opens many doors, allowing Etienne to create beautiful custom designed rings, with easily sourced and exactly matching color diamonds in nearly any color of the rainbow at much more affordable prices.
The specific kind of ceramic that Etienne is designing with iis called zirconia ceramic, mined in an ecologically friendly manner from the abundant zircon sands of Australia. It is an amazing material and a perfect, stylish, more affordable alternative to traditional gold and platinum bridal jewelry designs and great for both men and women!
It was developed for use in high-tech industries such as aerospace and now is commonly used in dental and joint implants as well as those nifty ceramic kitchen knives that are common now, not to mention the great watches that Rado has been putting out for two decades already! At 8.7 on the Mohs scale of hardness, it is nearly as hard as sapphire which makes it very versatile and durable–practically scratch and shatterproof.
