International Design Exhibition – United Arab Emirates

For the first time in its history, in 2013 Design42Day will be the official media partner of Dubai INDEX International Design Exhibition, so far the largest design fair in the Middle East and North Africa region. Held annually at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), a state of the art venue in the business district of Dubai, last year INDEX was attended by over 20,000 visitors from 94 countries, including 1,600 influential VIP buyers from the MENA region.

The INDEX International Design Exhibition showcases thousands of both interior and exterior design and architecture products and services across nine product-specific show sectors: Furnishings, Furniture, Couture, Kitchen & Bathroom,Lighting, Outdoor Living, Objets, Surfaces & Finishes, and Textiles.

Dubai is the region’s commercial and tourism centre, strategically connected to all the major international markets, being also the regional trading hub and gateway to the rest of the Middle East.

Dubai’s diversity means that visitors coming to INDEX can enjoy a whole range of different experiences. From the beautiful undulating desert sands to the bustling downtown areas, to parks and gardens, Dubai is a city of adventure, contrast, discovery and surprise.
