MICHAEL KORS TO OPEN SECOND FREESTANDING STORE IN TOKYO

TOKYO Oct. 8, 2011 – Michael Kors is pleased to announce the opening of its newest store in Tokyo at Roppongi Hills.  Known as a luxury shopping mecca to travellers from all over the world, Roppongi Hills caters to a discerning clientele.  Positioned in the most impressive location within Roppongi Hills, the newest Michael Kors store is situated amongst other globally established luxury retailers. 

As the Company’s second free-standing retail location in Tokyo, this 2,350 square foot duplex (230 sq. meters) will be the first freestanding store to offer the prestigious Michael Kors Collection.  Handbags, small leather goods, footwear, eyewear, watches and fragrance will be showcased on the first floor from both Michael Kors Collection and MICHAEL Michael Kors.  Women’s ready-to-wear will be prominently displayed throughout the second floor of the shop. 

Michael Kors stated, “I am excited to open my largest store in Tokyo to date in one of the most vibrant places in the city.  The energy and fast pace of Roppongi Hills is a perfect fit for my new store.”
