Singaporean designer Alvin Huang has created the Odyssey lounge chair.

Born in 1984, Alvin Huang is a Singaporean industrial designer.

He graduated from the Masters in Car design and Mobility course at Domus Academy, Italy in 2008 and Diploma in Product and Industrial design course at Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore in 2004.

In 2008, He moved to Milan after being accepted to the Masters in Car design and Mobility course in Domus Academy. In Italy, the epicenter of design, he was exposed to various types of product, furniture and automotive design. These experiences enriched his design thinking and inspired him through his studies.

Upon graduation, he worked in Milan for Bonetto Design founded by Rodolfo Bonetto. During his career in Bonetto Design, he worked on various projects in the areas of automotive and product design for many world renowned companies.

Returning to Singapore in 2011, Alvin Huang established ‘Alvin Huang Design’ and began consulting for various clients.

Continuing his futuristic and organic design style, Alvin Huang designed and produced the ‘Odyssey’ Lounge Chair.
