VICTORIA + ALBERT BATHS INTRODUCES THE NEW CABRITS COLLECTION
– A REVOLUTION IN BATHING ERGONOMICS
This April, Victoria + Albert Baths is exclusively unveiling the striking new Cabrits Bath and Cabrits 55 Basin at Salone Internazionale del Bagno – the International Bathroom Exhibition, part of Milan Design Week 2012. Following its Milan debut, Cabrits will be launched in the UK in July 2012.
Victoria + Albert’s freestanding Cabrits bath introduces a unique double dip design to provide a revolutionary bathing experience. With contours mirroring the volcanoes of the Caribbean National Park of the same name, Cabrit’s ergonomic form has been shaped to fit the body like no other bath before it. By providing support to the mid and lower back, Cabrits cradles bathers of all sizes in an optimised position. The Cabrits bath is complemented by the streamlined Cabrits 55 basin.
Compact and low slung for easy access, the Cabrits bath is designed to suit all areas of the home. Thanks to its striking silhouette, Cabrits suits both bathrooms and bedrooms providing a sculptural focal point to any scheme.
Made from QUARRYCASY®, a unique naturally white material rich in volcanic limestone, Cabrits is warm to the touch and maintains water temperature for longer thanks to its insulating properties. With a maximum volume of 176 litres, Cabrits is also highly water efficient, offering a luxurious bathing experience without the need for excessive filling. Specifically for UK new build properties, a master bath that features such a low volume helps to meet the requirements of Part G.
Marketing manager, Jonathan Carter comments: “Combining groundbreaking ergonomic design with beautiful form, the Cabrits bath and basin are unique and exciting additions to our portfolio. Not only does the bath look impressive but it offers a new bathing experience that must be tried to be believed.”
