Suicide Squad is a 2016 American superhero film based on the DC Comics antihero team. The film is written and directed by David Ayer and stars an ensemble solid proposing Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, Scott Eastwood and Cara Delevingne. In Suicide Squad, a mystery authorities employer-led by using Amanda Waller recruits imprisoned supervillains to execute dangerous black ops missions and save the world from a powerful danger, in change for leaner sentences.
Now it is one of the trendiest movies and you can find many Suicide Squad illustrations dedicated to its stars Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and the Joker (Jared Leto). Of course, more follow to be seen, but the love story between these two black birds keep our hearts beating faster and is something that has been put on the paper the most.
Who is Harley Quinn? She was created specifically for Batman: The Animated Series in 1992, and 24 years later Harley Quinn is finally making her live-action film debut. Originally a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum, Dr. Harleen Quinzel was corrupted by The Joker and became his assistant/girlfriend.
It’s safe to say that Suicide Squad wasn’t the most critically well-received movie of the summer, however, many artists continuously illustrate its “heroes”. You can find many Suicide Squad illustrations on Pinterest and now many of them are even available as prints on different products. It’s a great tradition in the movie industry to time-to-time refresh the comics characters and, probably, many of the movie followers ask: why the dark side? Most probably that, at last, they are brought to light out of the shadow.
This will probably be a surprise, considering the naturally dark nature of a film that focuses on supervillains, but Suicide Squad is actually shooting for a PG-13 rating. The goal for DC was to make sure the movie would fit in with their other cinematic offerings.
