Fyodor Golan
Fyodor Podgorny and Golan Frydman are the designers behind the creative label FYODOR GOLAN. Fyodor is half Latvian, half Russian, Golan is Israeli with Moroccan and German roots. Golan moved to London for the prestigious Istitutto Marangoni, Fyodor studied in Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp before moving to London where the two met. Their previous experience includes Alexander McQueen, Raf Simons, Richard Nichol and Issey Miyake. In 2010 the designers launched their own brand FYODOR GOLAN. Painting is their core and provides a constant source of inspiration through which they create shapes and proportions, mirroring these into garments. Fusing their conceptualist approach with beautiful hand detailing, leather scarring and the manipulation of fabric captures the imagination and creates their vision.
