Electrolux Design Lab 2012
Iulia Perfilova social media correspondent
Today we’ll present you the social media correspondent for Electrolux Design Lab: Iulia Perfilova
1. First of all, congratulations! How do you feel now that you’re this new adventure? Is it the first time you’re participating in this kind of event?
Thank you! I feel very happy and excited. Since this is the first time I’m participating in this kind of event, I’m expecting to give all my best, and of course to receive unforgettable experience.
2. Tell us a little bit about yourself, what do you study?
Living in a little country Moldavia, I was always dreaming to escape for a bigger life and start traveling. So, when I turned sixteen, I went to study in America, then my college years were in England, and now I ended up in Milano. Currently I’m studying in IED, Fashion Marking course. This is my last year in university, but I felt in love with this city, and planning to stay here for at least a couple years more.
3. What activities will you carry out as the official social media correspondent for the event?
My main activity will be dealing with social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook and many others that belong to Electrolux Design Lab. This will include interviewing participants and audience, taking pictures and trying to collect the best material in order to get in touch with fans and keep updated everyone around. Actually, there are much more things will be happening, and during the event for sure more ideas will come out.
4. What are you looking forwards to the most?
Meet new interesting people, stay around creative team and atmosphere, and, of course, be helpful and useful.
5. What qualities do you think will make you excel in your role?
My sociability and optimism have never let me down. Being friendly for me is not an outside sham, is a feeling that I always carry inside. I love to smile, and love when people are smiling back to me.
6. What do you think will be the most challenging aspect of the event?
Probably we will face some challenges, as it is the natural aspect of our lives. But, I look forward to them. As my father always tells me: “Everything negative – pressure, challenges – is all an opportunity for us to rise”.
