Galactica Star

Designed by the renowned Dutch shipyard Heesen Yachts, Galactica Star is the best performing yacht in its class despite the length of 65 meters, and it is the first super-yacht entirely constructed in aluminum.

The sophisticated hydrodynamic design in collaboration with Van Oossanen Naval Architects and its Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) is what makes the Galactica Star a unique yacht. The Van Oossanen team has produced a beautiful and smooth look, with excellent executions in terms of maneuverability and seaworthiness. The result is a very positive impact on operating costs and on the environment by reducing emissions of pollutants, made possible by its low weight compared to the average of the segment, and a performance increase of the 30%.

During the tests, the two 4300 kW MTU engines have led the Galactica Star up to a remarkable maximum average speed of 28.8 knots, almost two nodes more than what stated at the planning stage. The range is 4200 nautical miles at 14 knots.

Now, if the exterior design is sleek and slender, the inner literally exudes elegance and luxury. Designed by Bannenberg and Rowell Design Studio the sophisticated interior blends perfectly with the dynamism of the fascinating features of the hull. The atmosphere created by the refined interiors is cozy and airy; designed to be naturally glamorous, the rooms flow one into another in a fluid manner in a palette of colors, textures and materials and luxurious furnishings.

The yacht offers six stylish and palatial suites to accommodate up to twelve guests that can enjoy their time on board to the fullest thanks to the versatility and the amenities of the Galactica Star. Among the many of them: immensely spacious beach club, lounge bar, ten square meters of balconies with panoramic side, sauna, hammam and swimming pool with Jacuzzi and, if you ever want to take a ride, on the deck at the bow there is a landing space for helicopters.
