Increasing awareness and sensitivity towards energy consumption has lead to a dramatically different conception of personal transportation. Nowadays moving in an “environment-friendly” way is not a plus as it used to be in the past. Finding the smartest driving has been the main challenge of several car producers, which have developed an infinite series of hyper sophisticated and modern tools to move around big cities’ streets with low energy consumption, but just a few of them have been memorable. No doubt about it: the latest creation by Hussain Almossawi and Marin Myftiu will be a star of this product category.

The main challenge of the ambitious duo is simple: conceiving a feasible marriage between technical efficiency and low price, an affordable mean of urban mobility that would mark a definitive revolution in this niche sector.

The shape was conceived thinking about the toucan’s beak, and even the structural features are fruit of a deep study aimed at finding a good compromise between lightness (which translates into lower energy consumption) and strength.

Lightness is reached through a peculiar “Y” shape, while strong protection is given by the two side arms, which well resist to stress and sudden impacts. A further reinforcement is provided for by the seat, which is reinforced and can guarantee adequate safety to the only driver of the car.
