Concept 1865

Concept 1865 - Cover

Designers from studio DING3000 decided – quite literately - not to reinvent the wheel while working on their new project. For Concept 1865 they took a classic form of the first bicycles from the middle of 19th century and added electricity with bright, yet minimalistic design.

A giant front wheel and a tiny saddle create an illusion of a rider floating without any support. The main materials in Concept 1865 are modern plastics by BASF company, commonly used in the industry.

An electric motor is hidden under neon blue cover on a rear wheel, while its battery is hiding inside of a saddle. Exquisitely formed in an old-fashion way this e-bike may be seen as an object from a distant future.
