Albino, a brand born from the synergy between the stylist Albino D’Amato and the designer and architect Gianfranco Fenizia, with this collection continues to communicate loud and clear the desire to mix ‘made in Italy’ manufacturing with a very Parisian allure, with strong couture reminiscences. The collection manages to be rich and minimal at the same time, with its rigid lines that cut through models’ shoulders often leaving one naked, and its variety of colors from black, tobacco and ocher to indigo, white and gold to switch to graphic designs that recall butterflies or black and white flowers. Other pieces come to life thanks to wrinkled fabrics to draw a flower, everything conveys to an idea of surrealism and “architecturiocity”.

Even the seams and the cuts are minimized in the name of purity and elegance. The perfect fit is the three quarters that plays with the neck, sometimes covering it with a preppy collar, sometimes leaving it free with a strapless corsage. The silhouette and the volumes proposed are modern, contemporary; they don’t recall any past and identifiable period but leave anyway a sense of cohesion and continuity in the viewer.

From these games of shapes, colors and volumes a different woman comes to life, a woman that claims to be from another planet.

The most striking things in this collection are the weird round glasses, which remind us of those used by opticians for the eye tests and the patchwork platform-soled sandals.

Even if you did not know Albino before reading this article or seeing his creations, you will remember him for his succession of suggestions that live together with researched eclecticism without being excessive.

Romance, purity, luxuriance and yellow is what Blugirl stands for in this collection. This combination of features is what makes the collection both similar and distinct from previous ones- always with same dreamy but exceptional and outstanding designs.

High-waisted skirts and dresses, soft tops and floral prints are just some of the pieces that have been embellished with costly and effective details, and combined with adequate accessories. Cocktail dresses pinpoint the silhouettes with a complete new 3D appearance, along with the small belts expressing the form of the waist.

What gives the final affirmation for this season are accessories such as leather sandals with ankle straps, necklaces and metal bracelets, quilted leather bags, and  floral headbands with bows available in different colors, sizes and shapes, each one of them telling a different story. Those are the ones which give Blugirl a special aroma recognizable even for the ones who are not familiar with the brand.

The romantic spirit that has always distinguished the brand from the other ones is still present and also renewed with many new aspects, but somehow that is why we love its individuality and tendency to beautify.

BMWi Concept is the new generation of cars as a synonym for energy, durability, innovation and extreme sustainability, it brings up a remarkable driving experience. The feature that makes them exclusive is being reflected in extremely low fuel consumption and emissions.

Produced and made suitable for metropolitan surroundings they are enriched with latest technology and engine design. This unique combination of features gives the new BMWi Concept a look of hybrid cars.

Their inside space offers a generous comfort regularly not available. This has been achieved through consistency of combining and joining interior elements in a perfectly matching way one to another along with the highest style individuality. Next to the interior, the exterior accomplishes the full aspect of cars in their particular design.

The important detail, however, is the impressive functionality of these models. With the enormous space available inside and luxurious features that they provide, they give an appearance of the perfect synthesis of technology and aesthetic allure.

This up-to-date architecture of cars opens up a brand new section in interior design. New high-performance has been established without loosing its credibility, functionality and consistency, and that is what makes them a ‘fresh new start’ in the technology.

Time out for the Brothers Grimm, the Wiesmann brothers are the modern day raconteurs of German-made fairytales.
After the death of Enzo Ferrari, a cloud of dreamers  took part as players in the German automobile industry, however  many have failed due to the many technical, financial and strategic hurdles they came across.
The Wiesmann brothers, founders of the Wiesmann company, kept their eyes open to the specific market requirements and intermingled their reverie with marketable products inspired by unforgettable styles, everlasting elegance and the unique sense of freedom that comes with speed.
Their fabrication of lavish handcrafted sports cars, all of which can be individually equipped and tailored  to the needs and desires of each customer, has established a new standard in this niche of the car production  industry.  Flawlessly fitted BMW engines and exclusive German driving technology which exudes precision are parts of  their all-embracing production depth,  ensuring  a high degree of personalization in combination with prominent quality and sector-leading know-how.
Each of the models  is a concoction of the evocative  aesthetics of the past and the powerful technologies of today, making them part of that  nook where exquisite mechanical vehicles are esteemed as true works of art.
The clear concepts of design, style and elegance are detectable from the fusion of vintage and contemporary lines. They meet the demands of human imagination and twenty-first century sophistication, liberating the boundaries of driving pleasure.
By rethinking the notion of objective beauty , along with the application of premium materials and highlighting the importance of tailored workmanship, the Wiesmann company has succeeded to deliver a car for those pleasure and luxury seekers.

Combining different elements and pieces of furniture can be a challenge but not for Anne Lorenz. The designer is set to bring a fun and unique approach to the design world.

Famous for her Sleeping Chair, she now brings the “Home traveller”, a mix of a chair and a travelling bag. It’s the base of a chair with a bag on top, instead of the seat. The fabrics are minimalist and the colors hybrids. It can be moved around easily and arranged according to the space where it’s placed.

It’s a contemporary travelling accessory that makes going on a vacation an experience of a life time. It’s perfect for urban apartments and contemporary styled people. You have to be cool and modern to have one.

The Paisley Chair is made thinking on women’s curves, from its material, ergonomics, comfort and shape.

The feeling of sitting down is like coming home, an embrace of a lover or a dear friend. The thin stainless steel legs is to give an illusion and feeling of floating. The back of the chair in made of Philippine Abaca fiber turned into rope and then into thousand of loops to create a unique texture. Each loop is intricately hand sown into the chair. This Abaca back can come in natural or a naturally dyed version in a huge variety of colors. The Pink Paisley in the photo was created specially in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.

Every website and magazine after Marcus Fair, has written about this new project, because the results already show that building like the most environmental-friendly in Europe. The aesthetic is unique and would be curious to know how it works and how to live in this habitat is. But we must be satisfied with a brief description of the project for the moment. The Groningen tower is a new asymmetric complex of undulating curves – 92 metres tall -  projected  by Unstudio . The design is so original that is hard to believe that the project was born to answer not only to an aesthetical issue.

Indeed is designed to focus on sustainability with the intent to decrease C02 emissions and to use the public funds on more efficient way .The aerodynamic shape of the building has been achieved as the result of extensive sun and wind studies. The terraces, rounded corners and façade design guarantee minimum disruption to the microclimate of the surrounding urban green space, known as the ‘Sterrenbos’, whilst integrating sun shading, wind regulation, daylight penetration, with the result that both material and energy used are minimised.

Indeed the dutch studio with consortium DUO²,  has realized one of the most sustainable office buildings in Europe. The global project and maintenance of the building was hosted by a consortium consisting of Strukton, Ballast Nedam and John Laing. This consortium won the competition for the project on the basis of a combination of esthetic, technical and financial criteria. UNStudio, as the architect of the project, collaborated with Lodewijk Baljon for the landscape design, Arup for the engineering and Studio Linse as the interior advisor.

The project includes the design, construction and financing of two public institutions; the Education Executive Agency and the Tax Offices. The design reflects the separate identities of both user groups, although a part of the complex is common (underground parking facilities, public gardens, a central hall and a pavilion for commercial functions).

The great team of experts including architects, engineers, technicians who gave this great result has given us yet another demonstration that sustainable building can be “economical” and beautiful, so thanks to:

The Inspideans – denizens of Inspidea, Malayasia – want to rule the world through animation domination, and judging by the talent they house they might as well. One of their potent weapons – Daryl Toh Liem Zhan’s (a.k.a Takeru-san in webosphere), body of online work caught my attention recently.  An animation major by training, his expertise includes – concept art, illustrations, character design, and background design. Takeru-san’s illustrations are clear and concise without being cluttered.

The characters well-defined while titles and dialogues succinct. His online gallery houses a healthy dose of humor, satire, romance, murk, fantasy, sci-fi, action, autobiography, innocence, portraits and more! While browsing through his work over the last four years it is evident that the young illustrator has evolved through experiment with his style and feedback from his peers.

Daryl is also onboard the crew of the popular Malaysian TV animation series – Mustang Mama: Die Hard Sports Fan, and Boo & Me. He is the creator of the immensely popular webcomic – Dreamwalker Chronicles, which isn’t a Naruto but is a definite indicator of the promise this young lad holds. Expect great things!

“I paint my dreams out for everyone to see.” – Takeru-san
