The electrical bike is a good solution, but FEDDZ gives you more

Urban mobility not only is one of the most commonly addressed problems, but also is something that certainly affects everyone’s lives. FEDDZ is a project that invests in one of the many possible solutions that are popping: Electrical Bikes.

Well, bikes are great: they are a fantastic exercise, they are small, you can pretty much park them anywhere and they don’t consume any gas. But, let’s face it, they don’t come without inconveniences, especially if you have to cover a big distance: you get all sweaty and tired from the ride, you cannot always maintain a good rhythm and so on…

The electrical bike is a good solution that maintains all the good aspects of the regular bike but can very well fill in for its problems. Ok, so this is something you already knew, right? What is the difference in FEDDZ?

For starters it prioritizes practicality: the seat is adjustable to give the user more comfort.  In the place were a motor of a motorcycle would be, there is a 23 liters cargo space, were you can safely store your bags, sport gears or even a briefcase.

You can choose two velocity categories when buying your FEDDZ electrical bike: it can either reach 25km/h or 45km/h according to your needs.

The battery is rechargeable in regular plugs and is removable, allowing you to charge it at home, which facilitates the whole electrical process given that not everyone has a plug in their garages. This feature can be useful in many aspects: without the battery it becomes less attractive to robbers when parked on the street and it can be taken in your camper, for example.

The lower placement of the battery is also important because, besides giving space for the cargo compartment it gives the electrical bike a low center of gravity, making it more stable and easier to handle in the heavy traffic of the urban environment.

In the end it sound pretty clever and looks very cool. I would love to give one of these babies a try!
