In Project CARS you can experience the ultimate thrill of motor racing in the most realistic way with outstanding works of real-time simulated video game design.
Even the views in your virtual rearview mirrors are realistically simulated in real-time. Dynamically updated rich textures, which is essential for our visual perception of speed, makes the visual appearance look almost identical, and sometimes even better, compared to real video shot from a racing car.
The video game design renders in a first person simulation that makes the most of your gaming hardware.
PlayStation 4, PC/Windows and Xbox ONE are currently supported. Advanced peripherals are also supported, such as wheels, pedals and controllers from Logitech, Thrustmaster and Fanatec.
You can use one screen or multiple screens, including 4k to 12k resolutions, or go fully immersive with VR headsets from Oculus Rift or PlayStation’s Project Morpheus.
The video game design in Project CARS is different as its “sandbox” allows players to choose between a great variety of motorsport tracks and gives immediate access to all included tracks and vehicles.
Racing events can last for several days with weather and lighting changing dynamically. Currently, you have the choice between 60 different racing cars and 110 different courses (23 are based on real courses).
Anybody can enter the game, from a n00b to an experienced gamer. Project CARS may prepare you for high-speed wheel-to-wheel racing, developing quick reflexes, precise car control and instinctive decision-making.
There are four different ways you can participate in the game: Career, Solo, Online, and Community.
Project CARS is developed by British video game developer Slightly Mad Studios and distributed by Bandai Namco Games.
