What about gloves?

A piece of history that stays, indifferent to the passing time; a dash of the past, still present in Chiado. And because gloves never go out of style, this store becomes perfect for conceited lovers of accessories, those who can’t go through wintery days without having their hands warmed by fashion.
Probably being one of the smallest shops in the entire world, with space for only one customer at a time, Luvaria Ulisses offers classic gloves for the chicest ladies and stylishly elegant gentlemen. This tiny, history fulfilled, place fills both our sight and heart with a 1920’s Art Deco interior, which remains untouched since its foundation. Empire inspired furniture charms, complementing harmoniously the neoclassical façade. The characteristic geometric and angular shapes of the époque are softened by a surrounding vitrine filled with multiple gloves coloring the place.
A wide range of gloves is exposed; the colors are plentiful and every single glove is distinguished by some detail, whether a seam, or a flounce, or a button. Since the very beginning that this great little shop perceives a parade of the city’s political and artistic upper class, still regarding those who pass by and just surrender to the charms of a brief time travel in great style.
Founded in 1925 by José Rodrigues Simões, Luvaria Ulisses has always been dedicated to the exclusive sale of gloves and is still honoring the original manufacturing processes. Leaving no descendants upon his death, the business was held and conducted by his two store employees, who became equal partners, giving continuation to the prosperity of the iconic place.
