The Dubai Financial Hub

Dec. 18, 2012 - Apart from being, one of Dubai’s must-see places, made famous by the movie Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol highlighted scenes in 2011, the Dubai International Financial Center, more popularly known as, DIFC, is also home to more than 800 companies, including 18 of the world’s top 25 banks, 8 of the world’s top asset managers, 6 of the world’s top largest insurers, 6 out of 10 top law firms, and an array of premium restaurants, cafes, retail outlets and art galleries in town.

A 110-acre space which is very accessible by public transport, situated in the heart of the city. One of my favourite Dubai icons, for the simplicity and sharpness in design structure. Beautiful landscaping with mature trees, pergolas, and waterways. Indeed a destination, where you can go luxury retail shopping, step into an art gallery, even buy home furnishings ,and cap off the evening with dinner and a few cocktails in one of the many restaurants in the area.

Another plus to this iconic building is the series of Art Nights, they periodically have, which gives everyone the opportunity to acquire and have a look at some contemporary Middle Eastern art, from paintings to sculpture.

Truly a structure with classic details but uncompromisingly modern, unique, powerful and worthy which represents Dubai economy at present time.
