KECAMATAN UBUD, INDONESIA

Nestled in the heart of Bali’s lush jungle, Bambu Indah is a pioneer in eco-tourism, offering a unique escape that combines luxury with sustainability. The resort features an array of Bamboo Pure structures, including the award-winning Riverbend House and the iconic Moon House, setting the stage for an exceptional eco-adventure.

In 2020, Bambu Indah unveiled an extraordinary addition to its lineup: a bamboo treehouse that interconnects three colossal trees. Suspended high in the jungle canopy, this architectural marvel resembles an enormous bamboo basket, with the floor elegantly transitioning into sloping walls and a lightweight bamboo roof above.

Strategically placed skylights bathe the interior in natural light, providing an immersive 180-degree view of the stunning Bambu Indah resort and the lush terraced landscapes of Sayan Ridge.

What’s more, the interior of this bamboo treehouse seamlessly blends luxury and adventure, thanks to the masterful work of IBUKU, the visionary architects behind this project. The interior design celebrates sustainability, utilizing bamboo and other eco-friendly materials to create an ambiance that combines comfort with the serenity of the jungle.

Bambu Indah’s bamboo treehouse is a testament to the possibilities of sustainable architecture, offering guests a luxurious retreat that harmonizes with the natural world. This innovative retreat inspires eco-resorts and architects worldwide to explore new ways of building with nature, offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience where adventure and luxury coexist effortlessly.
