Maison Di Prima e-commerce
A super-refined collection celebrates the opening of the e-commerce site of Manuela Di Prima, a designer that Vogue.it had featured at the beginning of her career. "The new collection is a fresh and modern revisitation of the cultural and artistic mood of the end of the 18th century, when Neoclassicism and Pre-romanticism had developed at the same time – explains the designer - the concept of harmonious, classic beauty, balanced, simple and gracious of Neoclassicism, characterized by pure shapes and the rejection of superfluous ornaments, was juxtaposed to the dramatic, decadent, passionate concept of beauty embraced by Pre-romanticism.
I was fascinated by the way these two artistic currents coexisted, nourishing one another. Maison Di Prima, was created to celebrate the blending of pure shapes with the "dramatic" mood inspired by haute couture, the refinement of the fabrics, details, draping. I used cady and silk chiffon from Como, leathers and laser-cut leathers. The photo shooting illustrating the collection was shot by Federico Ferrari and set at Villa Gallici Deciani, a 18th century villa near Udine, the mansion of the Deciani counts.
The classic and noble architecture of the villa, the "romantic" majesty of the Nature are in perfect harmony with the artistic inspiration of the collection." With this collection the designer celebrates the launch of her e-commerce site www.shoponline.maisondiprima.com that will enable distribution in Europe, USA and Japan, but also, on request, in other countries.
