The barefoot experience was always a runner’s dream, and thanks to the creative minds of Nike, that dream is starting to take shape.
Combining two cutting edge technologies, Nike Free and Flyknit Lunar 1+, the company created their latest running innovation, The Free Flyknit - a shoe that provides both the comfort of a sock and performance of a shoe. The Free Flyknit’s upper molds to the shape of the foot, just like a sock. Made of densely knitted polyester yarn, the upper allows freedom of movement, but more importantly, gives stability and lets the foot breathe. And since most of our running is done on the concrete, a sole that provides cushioning and protection is essential. Nike’s Free 5.0 sole features flex grooves to promote natural motion.
The Free Flyknit is designed not only to please the feet, but also the eye – the sneakers come in various shades, ranging from vivid blues and greens to rich reds and oranges. With the cool looks and glove-like fit, The Nike Free Flyknit is certainly a running shoe to be in.
