Sada Bike currently is a functioning prototype, and the creator is searching for investors to manufacture and commercialize the product.
Its wheels are without spokes and when it is closed, it takes a minimum amount of space thanks to the folding system that needs just one movement. Moreover, the design perfectly mixes aesthetics and functionality through the multifunctional packaging that also works as user-friendly backpack or trolley.
The research started out with a study about urban individual mobility and finally resulted in the foldable bicycle. To realize such flexibility, the wheels of the bike are created by adopting an anchor system made of little cogs sustained by the framework and by specific rapid-tightening devices. They allow folding the bike in a simple and easy way, in order to make it as transportable as a generic baggage in any public transportation.
All these tools and features have been tested with the application of loads, but the results have been great. This project has the ability to open trajectories to a new mobility system outside classic schemes, amply usable and easy transportation. The personal style and the extreme versatility make a simple object like a bike a very dynamic and innovative device, that will become a demanded and desired article of the new sustainable age we are going to live in.
