The structure gracefully unfolds across three stories, thoughtfully divided into separate realms, each serving a unique purpose while seamlessly connected. The ground floor is home to the Boulangerie & Patisserie—an enchanting haven where patrons embark on a delightful shopping experience. Ascending to the first floor, the Bistro & Bar beckons, evoking the comfort of a boutique hotel lounge, offering solace for guests to relish their confections. Finally, the summit houses a discreet “labo,” an integral hub of creativity essential to the establishment’s essence.
Reviving the existing pre-fabricated structure and infusing it with innovative design, Bakes Thao Dien seamlessly fuses casual elements and diverse techniques, resulting in an evolution of aesthetics. The focal point becomes the rich texture of stained plywood, casting a visually alluring tapestry that cocooned within the warm embrace of this establishment. Wood flourishes across surfaces, cocreating a convivial ambiance, cocooning both the delectable pastries and their eager patrons.
The façade signage, though elegantly simple, captivates with vibrant branding hues painted against the luminous wall. Flags and canopies strategically placed not only amplify the building’s visibility but also provide respite from the sun’s embrace. The welcoming ground corridor beckons, while an elevated outdoor garden redefines the neighborhood’s ethos.
