DMY Berlin

DMY Berlin is certainly one of the events with the highest concentration of good design in Europe and for this reason one of the most interesting.

Former Berlin Tempelhof airport hangars were the perfect venue for the exhibition that gives a quick sneak on the upcoming international design trends, showing products from around the world. Among the others, names from Taiwan Designers Week, Norberto Fonseca (Portugal), Rahyja Afrange (Brazil), Ermanno Ferrari (Italy), Flowers for Slovakia and many others.

DMY is also an occasion to check the design pioneers out, as students are given a possibility to show their school projects, prototypes and conceptual design approaches. Here we discovered one of the most original ideas of the entire event: ‘Snego’, Scandinavian wood pebbles colored in blueberry, wine, red cabbage, turmeric, beetroot and lingo berry.

A relevant concentration of visual design, avant-garde ideas and a sophisticated approach to the market, a three day long immersion in the art of Design that ended with a great cocktail party at Monkey Bar of the Bikini Hotel.
