Taiyo Sushi Restaurant by Lai Studio in Milan

Interior of Taiyo Sushi Restaurant defined by Italian architect Maurizio Lai is the dialog between light and matter. The design relies on modern elements and architectural solutions that embody a unique atmosphere for private dinners and creates a closed space, just enough, as needed to redirect visitors from the city bustle but not to entirely isolate them.
A variety of geometric shapes set the mood of the entire restaurant. At first glance, the interior seems chaotic because of the layout of the walls and ceiling light, but, in a way, it creates its own harmony.
Each zone of the restaurant has its own unique design. The most prominent is the basement, decorated with "infinite" mirrored surfaces.
The resulting interior from Maurizio Lai is very modern and urban. He perfectly captures the essence of the current notions about Asian cuisine as something specific and stylish in its own way.
