Valentino designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli continue to carry on their research on embroidery, literally reaching a majestic level for their Spring Summer 2014 collection.
Whether you feel like a bohemian empress or an elegant North African lady, Valentino has what you will be looking for the next season: decadent patterns, ethnic prints, bowed necklines, floor-length skirts and regal gold spotty headbands to team rigorously swept up hair.
Inspired by a journey to the Rome Opera workshops, the designers are speaking the clear language of an opulence that is never vulgar and paradoxically down to earth: relaxed and linear embellished silhouettes with lace decorations reminding of religious icons.
