Nomique
British furniture brand Nomique’s Coco collection of benches, sofas and armchairs was recently on display during Clerkenwell Design Week. Nomique manufactures all of their products in the UK, using both traditional techniques and the newest technology.
The seating is aesthetically easy on the eyes, with clean lines and geometric simplicity – but it is also sustainable, made from OSB carcase, recyclable and recycled foam, and it is all from 100% FSC controlled sources. So you can enjoy the chic fusion of retro style with a modern twist while maintaining a clean conscience.
The first color scheme is cool greys, textured with slight variations on pale white-grey contrasted against a dark gunmetal, almost blue grey. The yellow buttons offer a bright surprise, and in tandem with the rich chocolate stained beech frame, bring splashes of warmth to the coolness of the greys. The second option feels a little more vintage, combining a clean white surrounded by an egg-yolk yellow. It feels brighter, less reserved – although both options are bold in their own ways, and each would offer a unique element to any room.
