It is shiny, catches out attention immediately and even resembles the form of a woman’s most beloved jewel. The Diamond Sideboard by Boca do Lobo, based in Portugal, shares many features we value in an actual diamond and doesn’t impress even a bit less.
The multi-faceted sideboard handcrafted in every aspect takes several master artisans and many weeks to complete. Made out of wood and finished with luxurious shades of different colours available on request, this brilliant sideboard can also be requested in different sizes and hence be accustomed to a buyer’s wishes.
Depending on the owners preferences the piece of art can be used as an object, sculpture, decorative icon and of course like every good design it doesn’t lack functionality, meaning it can also serve it’s original purpose; a sideboard. With two doors, two drawers and a shelf the golden-leaf finished interior provides valuable storage space.
Even the legs are manually carved with golden leaf in the form of a lion’s head. The base of course being equally high quality as the rest is made from mahogany.
