Weeleer Vergeer

Blonde, Dutch, 25 years old and founder of her own brand focused on innovation and fashion. Lisa Vergeer is not your ordinary design student. A relatively fresh graduate from the Design Academy of Eindhoven, she managed to set the spotlight on herself by concluding her college career with an impressive Cum Laude degree and the nomination for both the “Rene Smeets” Award and “Keep an Eye” Grant.
Her winning project is simple yet unusual, composed of a line of wearable bags inspired by lady thigh pouches of the 17th century. Her special creations are the result of intensive research in the fields of history and culture related to societal habits of carrying things around. Her insights from the past translated into an unimaginable combination of fashion and functionality. The two models she proposes are easily slipped over everyday clothes, produced in light and natural colors of very high quality leather. The collection, also known as "We’ve", displays a fresh contemporary look, which can be adjusted to the fashion preferences of almost any generation. The ergonomic configuration of the bags enables them to wrap flexibly the body and accompany with comfort any movement. The softness of the material which makes these items so adaptable, also confers to them an easy and casual style.
Lisa Vergeer’s line has achieved great results also because of her quest for high standards. An excellent taste for durable and superior quality materials, which age in a natural and beautiful way, goes side by side with a passion for innovation, precision and craftsmanship.
