TESLER + MENDELOVITCH

When thinking about wooden designs, handbags are probably not the first things that would come to our minds. But as some really talented and innovative designers prove from time to time: creativity has no limits.

One of those talents being the Tel Aviv based designer team TESLER + MENDELOVITCH, whom after introducing their impressive “Diamond Wood” geometric wood surface home furnishing pieces, now continued to developed their new line “Wearable Wood”.

More specifically, “Wearable Wood” is a series of limited in production, very luxurious clutch purses. As in their first line, they apply traditional wood craftsmanship to new concepts. Basically using wood as a new textile, the architectural looking pieces are constructed from 100% wood and leather lining. The geometric surface, resembling a bit a wooden origami, ensures for the necessary flexibility. Thanks to the magnetic clasp and a soft underbelly the clutches offers a secure, spacious interior as well a comfortable grip.

It is a piece of art made for true design lovers: all the wood is hand-selected with a unique surface thanks to the natural material.
