Mr. Nico

Yesterday night I was invited to have dinner at the home of a brilliant Italian architect owner of a magnificent two level-loft in Milan.

While I was extremely impressed by the harmony of elements in the living room and by the stylish coolness of everyone sitting around the table, it seemed like all of them, fashionistas or not, were concerned about the piece of wood hanging from my neck, namely the MrNico necklace I had for my birthday.

The success and curiosity arisen in everyone seeing my beautifully crafted piece of art is actually totally deserved. The laser cut geometric necklace in question is hand made with responsibly farmed poplar wood treated with water-based varnish, the result consisting in an extremely light and adaptable creation. In the real world, MrNico is a real dog, inspiring real ideas to a bunch of real friends based in Italy, who share a real passion for design that takes the shapes of faceted earrings, bracelets and necklaces.
