Boitsik / Panaskin

In the middle of the increasingly present frenzy of who will showcase the most tomboyish aesthetic of the season, it seems refreshing to run into a concept of undisputed femininity and elegance. That being the case, Belarusian designers Irina Boitsik and Pavel Panaskin blended their creative approaches and created the spring/summer collection named “Hold flight”.
From the first outfit to the final walk, the harmony made up of a series of ladylike pieces ruled the runway. Various silhouettes took turns sequentially in the forms of swaying tops and bottoms, as well as light summerly trench coats. We have noticed that the latter are somehow the hidden inspiration due to the folding and belts featured on many items. The frocks ranged from the casual chic dresses to the almost-floor-sweeping gowns. Furthermore, the proposal was complemented by the elegant corporate attire, perfect for running around from meeting to meeting to dinner with friends after a long hectic day at work.
Boitsik compiled the color palette of beige, mustard, grey and different shades of blue. Most of the garments are plain and opaque, apart from the two floral dresses and the full-circle floral skirt with the same print.
The minimalist business ensembles were completed with the corresponding coveted bags signed by Pavel Panaskin. These accessories came in a variety of shapes and sizes, often adorned with tassels, closing the circle and making the whole line-up well-rounded. Just like the mesmerizingly romantic aforementioned skirt.
