Sweeties comfort furniture series by Boggy Chan

If you're a glutton you can't miss out on these wonderful pieces of design I'm about to present.

They are the Sweeties comfort furniture series by Boggy Chan and they can't stay unnoticed.

The designer tried to combine her two passions, food and design, to create wonderful furniture to enjoy moments of relaxation in a delicious way.

Muffins, cupcakes, chocolate bars, apple pies and much else to recreate your gluttonous sins in a comfortable way. The biscuit table and cupcake stool were based on the concept of playing with food, discovering touch, smell, taste, texture to turn every characteristics of these delicious temptations in pieces of art.

Food and furniture share similar features such as comfort and attractiveness. Think of the soft touch of a warm muffin and then imagine a sofa reacting the same way when you seat on it; or think of a homemade chocolate cake, can you resist it? And what about an accomodating armchair?

To make it all more realistic, the curved edges of the cupcake’s ‘melting’ icing is mainly constructed from sustainable polyurethane formed naturally by gravity.

Based on these ideas Chan realized its furniture series which are observing a great success thanks to their cool tasty appeal.
