Literally, the Cowrie denotes the concave lines of seashells and all the subtlety of voluminous and rounded movements of the sea. This chair of contained traits is an all in one structure, formed in Ash faced plywood and comes in either a natural or ebonised finish. Boundary pushing, these sweeping lines are unveiled in a gentle and single surface monocoque fold. Its curvilinear shape is not restricted to gracing the sight of a viewer with its sweet angles and soft, continuous shape; this particular form of construction is the result of an extensive research and innovation process, which combines handmade and digital technology.
