The design brand an&angel (Angel Glass Design Ltd) was founded in 2004 by Artis Nimanis in Riga, Latvia. They have a range of unique glass bowl designs, playing with minimalism and strict geometry while using the latest technology to achieve outstanding results.
The exquisite artifacts from an&angel are both fully functional and of high aesthetic appeal, showing masterful insights in balancing form, material and function. Nimanis demonstrates a deep understanding of the properties of glass, both in terms of structure as well as in optical aspects, as several of the designs playfully interact with ambient light.
The company currently offers four themes: DECO, IN BETWEEN, NORTHERN LIGHTS and BLACK&WHITE. In 2013, their DECO range of glass bowls received the prestigious Red Dot Award for Product Design 2013. They also provide a range of services including private label work, industrial design and corporate gifts as well as corporate wholesale.
