Design business with Fabio Novembre

What is design? To which extent does it intervene in our life? What are its socio-economic implications?

On September 26^th, 2012, at 12am - room 42 of the Bocconi University historic building in Via Sarfatti 25 (Milan) we’ll try to answer to each of these questions. Bocconi Students 4 Design opens with an inaugural meeting. The special guest is the very-well known architect Fabio Novembre, flanked by prof. Antonio Catalani and Patrick Abbattista, founder of the international magazine Design42day.

This meeting aims to seize the main social, political and economic implications of industrial design, inviting us to conceive design as a pervasive aspect of life in our society, able to evolve in parallel with the established customs and traditions.

Our mission is to create a community within Bocconi University; within which we will promote good design from a project perspective, support the role of Milan on the international scene and act as a stimulus for students to conceive the design as a permeating aspect of society, which can evolve in parallel, but also independently, of the customs and traditions established.

Today, more than ever, companies are increasingly keen to integrate "design thinking," a school of thought devoted to structure the company in an effective way which reflects the main doctrines of design.
