Natalija Jansone
Already the name of Natalija Jansone’S SS2014 collection “IBIZA” brings a bit of summer mood with it. The light and airy outfits are confortable pieces to wear yet elegant enough for a business meeting or a dinner date in the evening where only a change of accessories and shoes is needed.
To support the sort of “casual-chic” theme of the collection, natural Italian fabrics such as silk, viscose and cotton were used, whereby the silk was printed especially for these pieces.
The colour scheme was held in rather earthy tones, white and black with the occasional strong, bright colourful piece bringing some fresh wind into the show.
Especially notably were the asymmetrically cut dresses and shirts as well as the slack blouses and pants. The more elegant part of the collection is composed of dresses with a slight tendency of balloon skirts, costumes and long wavy skirts. Never missing was the signature accessory, the beige turban, providing for an extra casual touch.
All in all Natalija Jansone defiantly brought a nice summer breeze into the cold Riga with her SS214 collection.
